I'm excited to announce that Insurance Networking News has officially opened nominations for the 2015 Women in Insurance Leadership awards.
It's my first time through this process, which has honored innovative, intelligent women across lines of insurance business for a full decade, and I look forward to meeting these exemplary leaders and learning how they're taking their companies to the next level in an insurance industry being buffeted by disruptive effects from technology, regulation, demographics, and more.
Earlier this year, the National Association of Female Executives named six insurance companies to its list of the top 50 companies for executive women. But I know there are many more carriers developing female leaders whose performance is enhancing their companies' bottom lines -- last year's list included representatives from 10 companies. And as has been the case in past years, winners will be honored at our Women in Insurance Leadership Forum this fall in Chicago -- a must-attend event for women across the industry.
We know that all of our readers can submit a nomination for a professional who deserves recognition for her skills, performance, and results. I hope that you will take a time to share with us who that individual is at your company.
