Klee Walsh, co-founder and COO of Shiftyy Technologies, said in the press release, the Shiftyy and ALEXIS partnership offers many economic benefits such as reduced maintenance and insurance premium costs, fewer accidents and vehicle damage, and improved driver accountability. Walsh believes that the company’s predictive insights result in early prevention of bad events– by identifying early warning signs of bad driver behavior, employers can engage their drivers early, preventing accidents before they happen. Overall this can save customers $300k to $1.4 million in annual costs per year.

Shiftyy's partnership with ALEXIS has allowed the fleet management company to bolster its range of telematics services. Thomas Rivera, executive director of Shiftyy, told Digital Insurance during an interview, that the ALEXIS predictive modeling capabilities have allowed the company to add functionalities such as real-time driver coaching to its range of telematics software.
“Alexis can analyze and do predictive modeling around that driver behavior. So we're getting all the data– the harsh acceleration, harsh braking, harsh cornering– and we're able to relay it in a way that our clients can use. The data isn’t just showing you the numbers of the events, but it shows what things could occur and what to watch out for.”
