Nationwide's commercial auto division is partnering with the insurtech Lytx to offer the company's DriveCam safety program to client fleet members.
Combining video and telematics capabilities, DriveCam gathers data from a windshield-mounted event recorder that powers both usage-based insurance and driver-feedback components processed by AI and human review. Nationwide hopes that the program will help commercial customers reduce distracted and dangerous driving and drive down fatalities.
