MetLife hires Stein as data executive for Latin America

MetLife has hired Carolina Stein as chief data and analytics officer (CDAO) for Latin America, as part of the company’s data and analytics organization, effective May 23.

Stein will be based in Buenos Aires, Argentina and be accountable for data and analytics in her new role. She will work to unlock fit for purpose data in MetLife’s enterprise data governance framework, and partner with the company’s business on driving strategic priorities.

Previously, Stein was head of product at Coface, a global credit insurance company, where she led market strategy and execution. Stein’s experience includes a role as vice president of data and analytics at Equifax.

As CDAO for Latin America, all the company’s data resources in the region will report to Stein. She will be part of MetLife’s data and analytics and LatAm senior leadership teams, and report to Robin Gordon, chief data officer at MetLife, and Naomi Johnson, regional head of business enablement and strategy.
