CoreLogic rebrands as Cotality

CoreLogic announced a global rebrand to Cotality. The change includes a new logo and brand identity.

Plymouth Rock Assurance collaborates with NWN

Plymouth Rock Assurance collaborates with NWN, an AI technology company, to leverage voice analytics and AI for customer service across its operations. Plymouth Rock will integrate voice analytics and Gen AI into its contact center.

Howard Goldberg, vice president of customer service at Plymouth Rock, said in a statement: "Over time, this voice analytics initiative will provide deeper insights into customer satisfaction and improve first call resolution while reducing overall operational costs. By reviewing the voice data to better understand the factors driving customer sentiment, we will significantly improve both customer service and the employee experience. Furthermore, we will provide automated summaries of customer interactions that will streamline information sharing across our organization and equip our independent agent network with more timely and actionable insights."

Northwestern Mutual to recruit 5,000 financial professionals

Northwestern Mutual announced a plan to hire over 5,000 financial advisors, representatives and interns this year. 

John Roberts, chief field officer at Northwestern Mutual, said in a statement: "Financial insecurity continues to be an epidemic in America – and many people are looking for an advisor to guide them down a path toward greater financial security. At the same time, a generation of advisors see their own retirement on the horizon, and more Americans than ever are willing to make a career change. These converging trends are creating an unprecedented opportunity for the financial services industry, and for mission-minded professionals ready to elevate not only their careers, but the lives of others."

Bolt and C Spire partner to offer tech protection

Bolt is partnering with C Spire, a wireless and internet provider, and announced the launch of C Spire Tech Protection, offered as part of customers' wireless and internet plans. Protection covers home office tech, entertainment and smart home devices, Norton 360 Deluxe cyber security and online technical support."C Spire is a market and thought leader with a passion and commitment to delivering innovative customer-centric solutions," said Clayton Bodnarek, executive vice president of alternative distribution at Bolt, in the press release. "We are thrilled to launch this partnership and work alongside the C Spire team to protect and better serve their customers."

Carbon credit insurer Artio gets backing from Tokio Marine, Markel and Apollo

Tokio Marine HCC International, Markel and Apollo are jointly providing insurance capacity for Artio, a data-driven early-stage carbon credit delivery insurance product.

Artio insurance provides risk mitigation for early-stage carbon renewal projects, allowing accelerated market growth and increasing high-integrity carbon-dioxide removal (CDR) carbon credits that can be used to meet 2030 climate commitments.

"Our capacity partners have shown they share our vision in helping scale the carbon markets and corporations reach net-zero," said Ibrahim Sarwar, Artio co-founder and COO of Artio. "To achieve this early stage coverage is critical and we need fit-for-purpose datasets built with specialist knowledge to deliver insurance products that truly fit buyer needs."

Novidea upgrades platform

Insurance management platform Novidea has updated its platform to automate manual processes, highlight client opportunities and provide actionable insights.

New features include an enhanced 3600 account view, smarter policy management, faster claims processing, optimized broker accounting and actionable intelligence.

"Novidea maintains an innovative technology mindset and draws from our deep knowledge of the insurance industry. It is important to us to incorporate the feedback from our customers across the globe, so that we deliver a solution which addresses their challenges," said Ido Peled, SVP Product at Novidea. 

VIU by HUB and Valon partner on mortgage insurance

VIU by HUB (VIU), an omnichannel insurance brokerage platform, has partnered with Valon, a mortgage servicing company, to provide Valon homeowners with simpler insurance management, streamlined renewals and proactive support.

Through the partnership, Valon homeowners can get instant quotes from multiple carriers, and unbiased guidance from licensed agents.

"Insurance has historically been a friction point for homeowners, with limited visibility and complex choices," said Andrew Wang, CEO of Valon. "Partnering with VIU allows us to solve this challenge with technology while maintaining the human expertise our clients value."

INSTANDA partners with Benekiva to modernize life & health claims processing

Digital distribution system INSTANDA announced a strategic partnership with insurtech Benekiva to benefit the life and health claims space.
