ACORD has launched an online insurance technology career center to connect tech job seekers to insurance opportunities.
The standards organization, whose members include insurance and reinsurance companies, agents and brokers, will assist members to improve recruitment efforts and will help job candidates to find new opportunities in insurance. The free of charge Career Center will also provide a searchable database with candidate resumes focusing on insurtech roles.
Bill Pieroni, ACORD CEO shared, "Successful organizations understand the need to develop enterprise digital platforms – from underwriting to information security to customer experience.” Pieroni continued to say, “ACORD is launching the Insurance Technology Career Center as a benefit to our members with the goal of helping them attract high-skill and high-will technology talent."
Working with colleges and universities, ACORD plans to raise awareness of insurance among students. Encouraging recent and upcoming graduates to post their resumes to Career Center will also connect them to employers seeking fresh minds well also connecting experienced professionals with expertise in a variety of insurance and technology fields.
