Wawanesa Insurance has chosen HONK as its roadside assistance partner. The company says it made the choice in part due to the performance analytics for all service requests in the HONK platform, including customer ratings, comments, sentiment, volume trends and time to arrival. "HONK's digital platform allows us to provide a roadside assistance program with the exceptional customer experience we want to be known for," said Wayne Sharrah, VP of Claims at Wawanesa Insurance.
Sapiens has partnered with GreenRoad Technologies to offer insurance carriers driving risk analytics through the former’s platform. Sapiens says that by incorporating GreenRoad’s mobile-app-based telematics, insurers can offer a range of usage-based insurance offerings leveraging the coaching, gamification and scoring mechanisms. GreenRoad’s CEO, David Ripstein, shares, “The data collected by our joint offering will support dynamic premiums for drivers, positioning insurers ideally to compete and retain their customers.”
CaliforniaChoice, Kaiser Permanente and Oscar, will use a platform from Vericred for health insurance and benefits enrollment and management in California and other states where they offer coverage. Other Vericred customers include Aetna, Anthem, Blue Shield of California, Cigna, Guardian, Humana, MetLife, Principal, Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield, and UnitedHealthcare.
Trillium Mutual Insurance Company has selected Guidewire products for a core-systems overhaul. The company will use InsuranceSuite, Client Data Management, and Rating Management as its new systems for policy administration, underwriting, claims, billing, and rating management; it also plans to implement ProducerEngage and VendorEngage on the distribution side. Trillium provides insurance for agri-businesses in Ontario, Canada.
