Geico has tapped Tractable's AI claims tech for its claims process. The platform leverages computer vision to help automate claims assessment. Other Tractable clients include Tokio Marine, Covea, and Admiral Seguros. "Tractable's artificial intelligence solution delivers both, helping us review estimates more quickly and accurately, getting our customers back on the road faster," says Todd Combs, CEO at Geico.
Insurtech Sure has entered an exclusive partnership with Common, a property manager, to help residents get renter's insurance. The partnership integrates Sure's insurance products into the rental process at the time of lease signing using an API. "Our mission at Common is to make city living easier for the renter and providing a seamless rental insurance experience is an essential part of this," says Common VP of Operations Eric Rodriguez. Sincethe launch of the initiative, 67% of new Common tenants choose to purchase renters insurance during onboarding.
Mapfre insurance and Aerial Technologies are deploying an "ambient technology" platform that uses AI to infer human motion through the distortion of WiFi signals rather than wearable tech. The goal of the platform is to monitor in-home movements and routines of elderly who require care and monitoring. enabling the in-home movements and routines of older people to be closely monitored without invading their privacy. The partnership is through joined insur_space, Mapfre's startup collaboration program. "We are psyched that a company like Aerial has chosen to join our insur_space acceleration program.
