Ashley Phillips, senior vice president of operations at A-MAX Insurance Services, said when she first started the organization was all paper and their biggest advertising was in the yellow pages. She added that artificial intelligence can be enveloped into systems to create a better experience for agents and customers.

Stephen J. Crewdson, CPCU, senior director, insurance intelligence at J.D. Power spoke during the opening keynote, "The Convergence of Digital & the Customer," about the importance of technology and digital channels to the customer experience.
Crewdson shared data that focused on how digital is changing insurance shopping and the claims process.

A session "AI Impact on Talent Strategy: Transformative Approaches for Workforce Planning," included insights on how artificial intelligence is being used within insurers' talent strategy to attract and retain employees. The speakers also shared information on upskilling.
Peilin Corbanese, vice president of analytics at EXL Service, said creating an innovative mindset is essential. Corbanese also shared that she has been upskilling to learn about GEN AI tools and she suggests others do the same.
