Bindable, Fenris, more insurtech people moves

Bindable, an insurtech focused on digital distribution, has added Risa Pecoraro as chief product officer, the company said in a release. She will be responsible for customer discovery, user research, quality assurance and delivery. Before Bindable, Pecoraro was chief product officer for CyberScout. Before that she was marketing director for Homesite Insurance up through its acquisition by American Family.
Fenris has hired Jason Wootton as head of growth and Kelly Daniels as director of strategic partnerships, the company announced via news release. Wootton started his career as a Farmers agent and has also been CEO of Motion Auto and a VP at LeadCloud. Daniels last worked at Precisely and Syncsort.
Sandbox Insurtech Ventures, the insurance arm of venture capital firm Sandbox Industries, has hired Charles Chamness as an advisor. Chamness was CEO of the National Association of Mutual Insurance Cos. a position he held for 18 years. “The insurance sector is reaching a significant period of innovation and development, and I look forward to working closely with Chris and the Sandbox team to identify the next generation of strategically important companies,” he said in a statement announcing his appointment.
Vesttoo, a platform for insurance-linked investments, has named several general managers for worldwide regions, the company announced. Brian Kirwan is hired as GM of Vesttoo Europe. He last was CEO of Allianz Global Corporate and Specialty UK. Douglas Min, GM of Vesttoo Korea, last was CEO of AIG Korea. Finally, Omar Ali is GM of Vesttoo UAE. His previous experience includes time at Investbridge Capital and Mirabaud Middle East Limited.
